Eduardo Frota nasceu em Fortaleza, em 1959, e iniciou sua produção artística no final da década de 1970 e início dos anos 1980. Mudou-se para o Rio de Janeiro em 1978, onde fez o curso Intensivo de Arte/Educação (CIAE) da Escolinha de Arte do Brasil (EAB), e cursou Licenciatura Plena em Educação Artística pelas Faculdades Integradas Bennett, além de frequentar cursos e oficinas no MAM/RJ. Viveu por muitos anos no Rio, regressando a Fortaleza em 1992, onde vive até hoje. Participou da 3a Bienal do Mercosul (Porto Alegre, RS, 2001) e integrou a XXV Bienal de São Paulo (2002).
Eduardo Frota was born in Fortaleza in 1959, and began his artistic career in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He moved to Rio de Janeiro in 1978, where he did an intensive art and education course at Escolinha de Arte do Brasil and an Art Education degree with teaching certificate at Faculdades Integradas Bennett, and also attended courses and workshops at the Museum of Modern Art. He moved back to Fortaleza in 1992, where he has lived ever since. He took part in the 3rd Mercosur Biennial (Porto Alegre, 2001) and the 25th São Paulo Biennial (2002).
László Győrffy was born 1976 in Budapest, Hungary. He graduated (MA) in 2001 at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, Budapest, Hungary. He did his postgraduate studies at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Visual Arts, Doctoral School, 2012-2015. In 2003 he won the First Prize of STRABAG Painting Prize, in 2005 the fellowship of Hungarian Academy in Rome and in 2019 the Budapest Gallery Residence in Lisbon. Apart from Hungary he had solo exhibitions in Paris and Los Angeles. From 2005 he regularly publishes his writings in art magazines, in 2009 he won the Ernő Kállai Scholarship for Young Hungarian Art Critics. He lives and works in Budapest.

Manoel Veiga trabalha com pintura e fotografia, tecendo um diálogo entre arte e ciência, com ênfase nas relações entre espaço e tempo e suas representações nos dois campos. Forma-se em Eng Eletrônica e dedica-se à arte em 1994. Estuda na Escola de Belas-Artes e na Escola do Louvre em Paris. Muda-se para São Paulo e estuda com Rodrigo Naves, Carlos Fajardo e Nuno Ramos. Recebeu bolsa da Fondation Thénot (França, 2005), Prêmio Flamboyant (Salão de Goiás, 2006) e o Prêmio “Mostras de Artistas no Exterior” (Bienal de São Paulo / MINC, 2010). Possui obras em instituições como o MAC USP, MAMAM Recife, MAC PR e MAC GO. Fez exposições em instituições e galerias como a Fundaj Recife, MAMAM Recife, Museu Oscar Niemeyer PR, Paço das Artes SP, Instituto Tomie Ohtake SP, MAC PR, Memorial da América Latina SP, MAC Sorocaba SP, MAC GO, MAC USP, Familie Montez Kunstverein (Frankfurt, Alemanha), Galeria Nara Roesler (São Paulo SP), Galeria Dengler Und Dengler (Stuttgart, Alemanha) e Galeria D’Est et D’Ouest (Paris, França).
Manoel Veiga works with painting and photography. He aims a dialogue between art and science, and higlights the relationships between space and time and their representations in both fields. He graduated in eletronic engineering, studied art at the École de Beaux Arts and École du Louvre in Paris. He moved to São Paulo and studied with Rodrigo Naves, Carlos Fajardo and Nuno Ramos. He got a scholarship from Fondation Thénot (França, 2005), and the Brazilian prizes Prêmio Flamboyant (Salão de Goiás, 2006) and Mostras de Artistas no Exterior (Bienal de São Paulo / MINC, 2010). He has exposed in the main museums, galeries and art institutions in Brazil, like for instance MAC USP, Museu Oscar Niemeyer PR, Paço das Artes SP, Instituto Tomie Ohtake SP, MAC PR, Memorial da América Latina SP, Galeria Nara Roesler (São Paulo SP). Bianca Dias é psicanalista, crítica de arte, autora do livro 'Névoa e assobio'. Fez história da arte na Faap e mestrado em estudos contemporâneos das artes pela Universidade Federal Fluminense.

Bálint Urbán nasceu em 1984 em Budapeste. É tradutor, crítico literário, músico e professor de literatura portuguesa e brasileira da Universidade Eötvös Loránd de Budapeste. Entre 2017 e 2019 trabalhou como professor visitante na Universidade Estadual do Ceará. Tradutor de vários autores de língua portuguesa, como por exemplo Gonçalo M. Tavares, João Tordo, Mário Cláudio, Al Berto, Herberto Helder e Ondjaki. Co-editor da revista literária Versum, dedicada à tradução de poesia internacional.

Beta nasceu na cidade de São Paulo. Morou e trabalhou em Cochabamba, Bolívia, e Buenos Aires, Argentina. Nos Estados Unidos desde 2004, trabalha como tradutora em diversos segmentos, incluindo literatura, cinema, publicidade, manuais de helicóptero e o que mais sua imaginação sugerir. Traduziu Minimoabismo de Priscila Merizzio, e Contos para Futuro Nenhum, antologia organizada por Adriane Garcia e Sérgio Fantini. Participou de suplementos literários como Dusie 21 e Saccades Review. Atua também como intérprete e locutora.
Beta was born in São Paulo, Brazil. She lived and worked in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the United States since 2004, she translates a wild variety of subject matters, including poetry and the kitchen sink. As an interpreter, Beta works in the immigration, corporate, educational and healthcare fields. As a voiceover, she lends her voice to characters, automated services, and instructional DVDs.
Flávia Rocha é poeta, editora e jornalista. Ele tem um MFA em escrita pela Columbia University, e é autora de dois livros de poesia, ambos publicados no Brasil, o livro bilíngue A Casa Azul ao Meio-dia/ The Blue House Around Noon (Travessa dos Editores, 2005) e Quartos Habitáveis (Confraria do Vento, 2011). Ela é editora da Rattapallax, uma revista literária de Nova Iorque que publica poesia norte-americana e internacional. Suas traduções de poesia contemproânea do inglês para o português são publicadas frequentemente em revistas literárias no Brasil. Ela vive atualmente em Portland.
Flávia Rocha is a Brazilian poet, editor, and journalist. She holds an MFA in writing from Columbia University, and is the author of two poetry books, both published in Brazil, the bilingual A Casa Azul ao Meio-dia/ The Blue House Around Noon (Travessa dos Editores, 2005) and Quartos Habitáveis (Confraria do Vento, 2011). She is the editor-in-chief of Rattapallax, a literary journal based out of New York City featuring contemporary American and international poetry. Her translations from English into Portuguese of contemporary poetry often appear in literary magazines in Brazil. She currently lives in Portland.

Francesca Cricelli (Ribeirão Preto, 1982) é poeta, tradutora e pesquisadora. Cresceu entre o Brasil, a Itália e a Malásia. Publicou os livros de poemas Repátria no Brasil e na Itália (Selo Demônio Negro, 2015 e Carta Canta, 2017) e 16 poemas + 1 nos EUA (edição de autora, 2017), na Islândia (Sagarana forlag, 2017) e na China (Museu Minsheng, 2018), a plaquette As curvas negras da terra / Las curvas negras de la tierra (Nosotros Editorial, 2019), e suas crônicas de viagem Errância(Dulcinéia Catadora, 2018 e Edições Macondo e Sagarana forlag, 2019). Traduziu as escritoras italianas como Elena Ferrante (Biblioteca Azul, 2016) e Igiaba Scego (Nós, 2018). É doutora em Literaturas Estrangeiras e Tradução pela Universidade de São Paulo. Vive em Reykjavík.

She did a PhD in Foreign Languages and Translation at Universidade de São Paulo., and she lives Reykjavík.
Gisele Wolkoff é poeta, premiada com o Machado de Assis, contista (para o Diário do Sudoeste entre 2012-2015, além de publicada em antologias), autora de Partidas (2012), Rumo ao Sol (2014), Ar (2016), publicados pela Palimage em Portugal, organizou e traduziu Poem-ando além fronteiras: dez poetas contemporâneas irlandesas e portuguesas//Poem-ing Beyond Borders: ten contemporary Irish and Portuguese women poets. (Palimage, Coimbra: 2011) e Plurivozes Americanas/American Plural Voices/Plurivoces Americanas (CRV: Curitiba, 2015). É professora do Instituto de Ciências Humanas e Sociais da Universidade Federal Fluminense onde coordena pesquisas na área de Literatura, Cultura e Tradução.

Ivan Justen Santana nasceu em Curitiba em 1973. Poeta, professor e translator, é licenciado em língua e literatura inglesa pela UFPR (1996), mestre em Letras pela USP (2002), e doutor em estudos literários pela UFPR (2015). Atualmente tutor de Letras da Uninter, publica seus poemas e traduções no blog Um sim em si desde 2004.
Ivan Justen Santana was born in Curitiba (capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná), in 1973. Poet, teacher and translator, he has a degree in English language and literature at UFPR (1996), a master’s degree in Translation Studies at USP (2002), and a doctoral degree in literary studies at UFPR (2015). Currently working as tutor at Uninter, he publishes his poems and translations in the blog Um sim em si since 2004.

João Miguel Henriques (Cascais, 1978) é poeta, tradutor e professor de língua e literatura portuguesa. Publicou seis livros de poesia, além de outros textos dispersos por várias revistas e publicações online. Traduziu diversos autores ao longo dos anos, essencialmente do inglês e do alemão. No contexto de oficinas de tradução realizadas na Casa do Tradutor em Balatonfüred, traduziu para português poetas húngaros como László Nagy, István Bella e György Petri. Vive actualmente na Hungria, onde lecciona na Universidade Eötvös Loránd de Budapeste, dirigindo igualmente o Instituto Camões local.

He has translated several authors, particularly works written in English and German to Portuguese. During workshops at a Translators Centre in Balatonfüred, João translated to Portuguese the work of Hungarian poets László Nagy, István Bella and György Petri. He lives in Hungary, works at Universidade Eötvös Loránd in Budapeste, and he is also the director of the local Instituto Camões.

Virna Teixeira nasceu em Fortaleza. Poeta, tradutora, contista e editora. Seus livros de poesia foram publicados na América Latina, Portugal a Reino Unido. Virna tem um trabalho prolífico como tradutora, ela publicou títulos de poesia escocesa, sul americana e francesa; numerosas traduções de língua inglesa; e também traduz poesia brasileira para o inglês.Ela vive em Londres e dirige um projeto editorial independente, Carnaval Press, que publica poesia brasileira em tradução. Virna é editor e web designer da revista Theodora. Ela também é médica e trabalha em hospital psiquiátricos no NHS.

Virna is also a doctor and works with mental health in the NHS.
